AIHA Unveils New Name, Brand for its Annual Conference

Formerly called AIHce EXP, the organization’s conference will now be known as AIHA CONNECT: The Conference and Expo for OEHS Professionals.

The American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA) is renaming its annual conference.

According to a news release, the conference previously known as AIHce EXP will now be called AIHA CONNECT: The Conference and Expo for OEHS Professionals.

“As the OEHS profession continues to evolve, our annual conference is becoming increasingly valuable,” said Lawrence Sloan, the CEO of AIHA, in the press release. “We wanted a name that reflects the connections and dynamic experiences that the conference provides, and one that can sustain the conference for years to come.”

This annual event is a place where OEHS professionals can “network, discover new ideas, and access professional resources”—all objectives AIHA wants the name change to more clearly communicate to those looking to attend, per the press release.

AIHA announced the change on the last day of AIHce EXP 2023 in Phoenix, Arizona.
