"No matter where you are in North America, whether it's cloudy, clear, or rainy, NASA wants as many people as possible to help with this citizen science project," said Kristen Weaver, deputy coordinator for the project. "We want to inspire a million eclipse viewers to become eclipse scientists."
Local water rescue services could use the money to purchase lifesaving equipment such as boats, life jackets, and safety gear. They have until Sept. 6 to submit their bids to the Department for Transport.

The law creates a Cannabis Control Commission to regulate the recreational and medical marijuana industries. The commission also will set potency limits for edible marijuana products and adopt packaging requirements that conform to a detailed list of health and safety protections.
