NSC and Safety On The Edge Partner to Launch Global Safety Leadership Event in 2026

For the first time, the NSC Safety Summit and Safety On The Edge Global Forum will unite under one roof in May 2026, offering safety leaders a transformative experience in Baltimore.

The National Safety Council and the Safety On The Edge Global Forum have announced a groundbreaking partnership that will bring their respective safety leadership events together under one roof in 2026. For the first time, the newly reimagined NSC Safety Summit will be co-located with the Safety On The Edge Global Forum at the Baltimore Convention Center in May 2026. The joint event aims to deliver a first-of-its-kind experience for safety professionals across industries and around the world.

NSC Safety Summit Evolves into Leadership Powerhouse

The NSC Safety Summit, the next evolution of the former NSC Spring Safety Conference & Expo, will provide a dynamic slate of programming centered on emerging safety leadership needs. Attendees can expect in-depth coverage of key topics including the Future of EHS, Human and Organizational Performance (HOP), and Campbell Institute initiatives. The summit will also feature professional development seminars, continuing education opportunities, and extensive networking options tailored to enhance leadership capabilities and cross-sector collaboration.

Safety On The Edge Global Forum Pushes Boundaries

Known for thought leadership and disruption, the Safety On The Edge Global Forum brings together global experts to challenge the boundaries of workplace safety. Its immersive sessions focus on artificial intelligence, mental health, HOP principles, organizational safety culture, and progressive leadership strategies. With a focus on cross-industry transformation, SOTE provides forward-thinking tools to move organizations beyond compliance and into the realm of serious injury and fatality (SIF) prevention.

Shared Vision for the Future of Safety

This new collaboration reflects a shared commitment to innovation, leadership development, and building a global safety community. By joining forces, NSC and SOTE will offer a broader range of insights and resources, equipping attendees with the tools to tackle today’s most urgent workplace safety challenges.

“This partnership is about more than just sharing a venue — it’s about sharing a vision,” said NSC CEO Lorraine Martin. “By uniting the academic and industry connections of SOTE with the proven safety leadership of the NSC Safety Summit, we are creating a space where the safety community can grow, evolve and build a safer future, together.”

Leadership Voices in Unison

Corrie Pitzer and Malcolm Staves, co-founders of Safety On The Edge, emphasized the significance of the partnership. Pitzer is CEO of Safemap International, and Staves serves as Global Vice President for Health and Safety at L’Oréal.

“We are thrilled to join forces with NSC in this landmark event,” they said in a joint statement. “Our mission has always been to push the boundaries of what safety can be. By aligning with NSC, we’re amplifying that mission and creating a platform where innovation meets leadership — where the edge becomes the new center.”
