NSC Safety Congress & Expo Saw Attendance Boost in 2024

The 2024 NSC Safety Congress & Expo saw record attendance, with substantial growth in participation and exhibition space.

The 2024 edition of the National Safety Council’s (NSC) annual event saw a significant rise in attendance, the organization recently announced. 

The 2024 NSC Safety Congress & Expo attracted over 12,600 safety, health and environmental professionals to Orlando, Fla, in September. This marks a 14 percent increase compared to last year and the third consecutive year of double-digit growth for the event, which remains the world's largest annual gathering of safety experts.

More than 7,300 identified as safety professionals, up 9 percent. Attendees represtned more than 70 nations around the world, underlining the event’s global impact. This year, the expo hosted more than 1,000 exhibitors, a 25 percent increase, with displays covering 213,400 net square feet of space, up 17 percent from the previous year.

“It’s clear by this year’s NSC Safety Congress & Expo attendance that the focus has never been greater on solving the safety challenges of today and tomorrow,” NSC President/CEO Lorraine Martin said in a statement. “We could not be prouder to bring together the brightest minds in the field and the latest in safety innovations at this impactful event. We know the game-changing insights, tools and resources shared stand to help create safer outcomes from the workplace to anyplace.”

The 2025 NSC Safety Congress & Expo will take place from Sept. 15-17, 2025, at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver, with attendee registration opening in May 2025.
