Workplaces in West, Midwest United States Recognized for Being Free of Injuries, Illnesses in 2022

Thirty-five employers across six states received OSHA recognition.

A total of 35 employers, all in the OSHA Region VIII Voluntary Protection Programs Participants' Association Inc., between six states are being recognized for not having any injuries or illnesses at workplaces last year.

OSHA announced the employers in Colorado, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Utah and Wyoming on June 8 and June 12, 2023. The employers, known as "Zeroes Heroes,” are part of OSHA’s Voluntary Protection Program (VPP).

"These 'Zeroes Heroes' sites show that by committing to systems-based approaches to employee safety and health—such as the OSHA Voluntary Protection Programs—employers can keep workers safe and free of injury," said OSHA Regional Administrator Jennifer Rous in Denver in a news release.
