OSHA is holding a virtual meeting about the whistleblower program on October 19, 2022.
According to an OSHA news release, this meeting is meant to gather public information and comments on OSHA’s Whistleblower Protection Program.
The free meeting is open to the public from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. EDT. It will take place via telephone and Teams, and Spanish translation will be available. Register by October 12, 2022 online in English or Spanish.
This is the tenth in a series of meetings on the whistleblower program. The previous meetings, held in years past, covered various topics such as outreach efforts and protection from retaliation during the pandemic.
Per the news release, OSHA is looking for comments on:
- “How can OSHA deliver better whistleblower customer service?
- What kind of assistance can OSHA provide to help explain the agency’s whistleblower laws to employees and employers?”
Comments can be submitted on Docket No. OSHA-2018-0005 until November 2, 2022.
