ASSP Offers Hybrid Experience for Safety 2021 Conference and Expo

ASSP will be heading out to Austin, Texas this year for its annual Safety 2021 Conference and Expo.

Who is ready for some great education sessions, networking opportunities and a chance to discover the newest products from safety manufacturers? If you said yes, then you are definitely aware that the American Society of Safety Professionals is gearing up to present their Safety 2021 Professional Development Conference & Exposition in Austin, Texas from September 13 - 15.

The year, ASSP will presenting Safety 2021 as a hybrid event, offering both online and in-person options to those who are interested in attending the conference. The Society has laid out some extensive plans for safety and health for those who would like to travel to Austin for the conference, but there are also many benefits to the online version of the event as well.

“It will be a dynamic learning and networking experience,” ASSP President Bradley Giles, P.E., CSP, STS, FASSP, GIOSH said in a press release. “We are excited to offer an online element for those who can’t make the trip.”

Safety professionals attending online can earn up to 6.4 continuing education units (CEUs) for career advancement. All registrations include 60-day on-demand access to sessions recorded for the online event.

ASSP Safety 2021 has set the goal high to highlight best practices, industry trends and the latest product innovations. Concurrent sessions by industry trendsetters provide practical information that can be used today and in the future to protect workers, enhance business operations and advance careers.

The conference’s popular general and plenary sessions that aim to inspire, entertain and inform will be livestreamed from the Austin Convention Center so that in-person and online attendees experience them together in real time.
