ASSP and NECA Join Forces to Improve Electrical Worker Safety
The two organizations signed a three-year memorandum of understanding on November 2.

The American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP) and the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA) signed a three-year memorandum of understanding on November 2.
The memorandum sees the two organizations working together to progress workplace safety in the electrical construction industry. They will be sharing best practices and collaborating to increase education in the industry via training programs.
“We recognize the benefits of collaboration to improve occupational safety and health practices and outcomes,” said Jennifer McNelly, ASSP CEO. “We strive to eliminate worker illnesses, injuries and fatalities across the board, and organizations working together improves the ability to achieve that result.”
Workers and employers in the electrical construction industry can view material such as webinars, software and publications to improve safety measures in their workplace.
