NEW ORLEANS – The Safety 2019 Professional Development Conference & Exposition went by in a busy blur! We’ve rounded up some of the highlights from the show floor—you can catch up on everything you may have missed on our Live From Safety 2019 Social Zone at OHSonline.com/live.

It was definitely warm in New Orleans—and not just because of the DuPont Thermo-Man demonstration Monday evening! Luckily, the show floor was air-conditioned for attendees and the almost 700 exhibitors. There was plenty to do and see on the packed show floor, and we highlighted some of the most exciting activity on our Live From Safety 2019 Social Zone at OHSonline.com/live, sponsored by Avery Products, Columbia Southern University, Little Giant Ladders, MCR Safety, and Tingley. Here’s a peek into OH&S’s coverage of Safety 2019.

It’s a wrap on another successful ASSP show for Avery Products. Hundreds of enthusiastic safety professionals stopped by the Avery booth to learn about quick, easy and cost-effective GHS, safety label & sign products that can be printed on-site with standard laser and inkjet printers for instant compliance. If you missed Avery Products at the ASSP show, learn more at: www.avery.com/industrial.

The Little Giant Ladders booth was hard to miss as always, thanks to their HyperLite ladder in the Little Giant exclusive Hi Viz green, scientifically proven to be the most visible color in the world. The Little Giant crew offered demonstrations of many of their products, including the 3-in-1 King Kombo, the HyperLite SumoStance, and the Claw, a hook system that attaches to cables, crossbars, or attachment points to semi-permanently lock the ladder in place for safety.

Thanks to all of the attendees who stopped by MCR Safety’s booth at Safety 2019. This year’s event was filled with many users looking for protection from various cuts and impacts to the hand along with finding a true anti-fog solution for safety glasses.  If you have the same needs, they have several links that will help you in finding the right solution for your hazards: cut protection, impact protection, and anti-fog.

The 2019 ASSP Show was highly productive for the Tingley Rubber Team. A new, more contemporary booth design highlighted a number of new products on both the Footwear and Clothing sides. On the Footwear side, the new Pulsar PVC Knee boot, the Badger Steel Toe Boot and the Workbrutes G2 Overshoes were all displayed. Not to be outdone, 4 New ANSI 107 Compliant T-shirt styles were shown, including a Class 3 Short Sleeve, a Class 2 Premium Style, and a Class 2 Short Sleeve and Class 3 Long Sleeve both with black material added to conceal dirt. The rebranded ASSP Show in New Orleans was a great chance to interact with a number of key customers and discuss exciting new opportunities with both new and existing Tingley Users, and they're looking forward to next year in Orlando!
