ARTBA Foundation Launches Certification Program

The program's vision is "to ensure the safety and well-being of construction workers, motorists, truck drivers, pedestrians and their families by making transportation project sites worldwide zero-incident zones."

The ARTBA Foundation has launched a Safety Certification for Transportation Project Professionals™ (SCTPP) program and has determined testing dates in 2017: Jan. 16-Feb. 17, March 13-April 14, and Oct. 16-Nov. 17.

The program's vision is "to ensure the safety and well-being of construction workers, motorists, truck drivers, pedestrians and their families by making transportation project sites worldwide zero-incident zones." And its stated mission is to make safety top of mind for professionals involved in planning, design, management, materials delivery, and construction of transportation projects.

Developed by executives and safety professionals in the transportation infrastructure industry, the SCTPP credential indicates the individual who holds it can identify common hazards found on transportation project sites and correct them to prevent safety incidents that could result in injuries or deaths.
