Ice Cream Recalled for Possible Listeria
Helados La Tapatia in California has voluntarily recalled all of its ice cream products.
According to an article posted by Food Safety News, California-based Helados La Tapatia, Inc. has voluntarily recalled all of its ice cream products for possible listeria contamination following a routine FDA inspection that revealed bacteria on the equipment. The company recalled all of its popsicles, fruit bars, fruit cups, and bolis, as well. The company is coordinating with regulatory officials.
The recalled products were distributed in Arizona, California, Nevada, Washington, Guam, and Canada under both the company's name and the name Icesations. According to the article, no illnesses have been reported yet.
