Tile Company Earns OSHA Star

Dal-Tile Corp. in Gettysburg, Pa. has earned a star in OSHA's VPP.

OSHA announced that it has awarded a Voluntary Protection Programs star to Dal-Tile Corp. in Gettysburg, Pa. OSHA Deputy Regional Administrator Ed Selker and Harrisburg Area Office Director Kevin Kilp attended the ceremony at the company's Gettysburg office to present a plaque and flag.

"Dal-Tile demonstrated its commitment to ensuring the safety and health of its employees by maintaining an injury and illness rate 52 percent below comparable industry rates," said Selker.

The firm has 189 employees who make ceramic wall and floor tile.
