Looking at the schedule set by OSHA to achieve a full chemical compliance with Safety Data Sheets, Labels and Training, in line with the Global Harmonized System (GHS) Revision 7-8, we will open a discussion with the attendees in view of optimizing their regulatory compliance.
A new approach has been chosen by OSHA, to prioritize pure substances and then mixtures, since mixtures represent a large proportion of the chemical manufacturing activities in the US, shall we 'wait' or start acting, at least planning how we will get the updated documents and used them to train our employees?
We will explore real case' scenarios and share some of the metrics that should be considered in selecting the preferred option for your organization.
Since the event is more of an opened discussion, we will welcome questions from the audience and discuss some 'special situations' that may arise.
