Arc Flash and Shock Hazards: Electrical Safety from Novice to the Advanced
Date: Tuesday March 17, 2026 at 2:00pm ET - 1:00pm CT - 11:00am PT
Webinars attract a wide range of electrical safety professionals and electrical workers, all at different points in their journey toward achieving electrical safety. Some organizations reach their goals quickly, while others struggle, take detours, or lose their way entirely. Regardless of where you are on that journey, this webinar is designed to provide direction if you are unsure of the path—or to help optimize your route if you already know where you are headed.
Drawing on experience developing national and multinational electrical safety programs, as well as lessons learned from multiple accident investigations, this webinar focuses on what truly moves the needle. Rather than simply restating OSHA requirements or industry standards, we will concentrate on three high‑impact areas: training, personal protective equipment (PPE), and arc flash studies. For each area, we will explain what is required, why it matters, and how to implement it effectively. Electrical safety can quickly become complex; this session is intended to simplify the process and help attendees focus on actions that provide the greatest improvement in protection—for themselves, their coworkers, and their organizations.
