Hearing, Respiratory PPE Provider Takes the PVC-free Pledge

Joining more than 150 other major corporations, Moldex-Metric Inc. announced yesterday that is has taken a stand against the use of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) plastic in their products and/or packaging. The announcement adds Moldex among the ranks of other companies--such as Apple, SC Johnson, Wal-Mart, Toyota, Johnson & Johnson, and Nike--who have a have acknowledged the dangers PVC and have pledged to phase out the toxic plastic.

Moldex followed this announcement with the unveiling of the first and only line of hearing and respiratory protection products that are 100 percent free of PVC. Previously, Moldex products had always been 99 percent free of PVC. The company says this changes comes with absolutely no increase in price and no change in comfort or quality.
