EAPA, CIDRAP Co-Hosting Pandemic Webinar April 27

The Employee Assistance Professionals Association is offering a timely, 90-minute webinar April 27: "Pandemic Preparedness for Human Resources: Designing and Implementing Effective Policies," which is sponsored by the University of Minnesota's Center for Infectious Disease Research and Policy and EAPA.

The association says informed EA professionals can play a critical role in helping their client organizations prepare for a potential pandemic. Participants can earn 1.5 PDHs by taking part.

The webinar's presenters are Michael T. Osterholm, PhD, MPH, director of CIDRAP and editor-in-chief of the CIDRAP Business Source; Jeanne Denz, director of Global Benefits for General Mills Inc. and associate editor of the CIDRAP Business Source; and Roger T. Brice, JD, a partner in Sonnenschein Nath & Rosenthal LLP and a contributing editor to Employment Discrimination Law -- 4th Edition. The presentation is set to begin at noon Eastern time.
