Moreover, two primary emergency medical issues facing every workplace are heart attacks and similar cardiac events, and opioid and other drug overdoses. This webinar will address how workplaces can ensure they have the implement effective emergency medical response plans, have proper resources in place, and train their teams to effectively address these emergencies and help their coworkers.

, a registered nurse since 2001, earned his master's degree and became a certified nurse practitioner in 2011. In 2018, he co-founded On-Site Medical Solutions, an occupational medicine clinic in Baton Rouge, which now serves over 350 business clients. This experience inspired the creation of OptiCare Connect, a telehealth platform offering real-time injury management across the U.S. With over 23 years of experience in emergency medicine, including 13 years as a nurse practitioner, Frank has held multiple leadership roles, managing a level two trauma center and navigating major crises like natural disasters and the COVID-19 pandemic. He is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

Chemical and Hazmat Emergency Preparedness

Chemical and Hazmat Emergency Preparedness — Chemical and hazardous materials disaster preparedness in the workplace hinges on ensuring consistent compliance with safety protocols across all levels of an organization. This webinar will focus on training, planning, and equipping workers to safely handle emergencies related to hazardous chemicals and materials.

Richard Prugh has been involved in process safety for all his career, providing auditing and engineering services to small and large chemical and petrochemical companies throughout the United States and in 23 foreign countries. His experience includes serving on an eight-member team that evaluated the process-safety status and safety culture on 15 off-shore platforms and with on-shore interviews of safety, engineering, and management staff. Since 1985, he has provided process safety consulting and engineering services to the chemical, pharmaceutical, food, wood, pulp/paper, metal. and petrochemical industries throughout the United States and globally.
