In this webinar, Jill A. Clements, Senior Research Engineer at DuPont, and Ray Morris, Director of Training & Development for Ansell Healthcare, will outline recent changes in glove standards and describe the specific methods used to test gloves under ANSI/ISEA 105 and EN388. New testing methods are helping realign manufacturers’ claims and reduce confusion over glove performance in the global marketplace.
This event will offer an in-depth look at the keys to cut resistance, the background and comparison of cut standards and how those standards have changed in recent years. Participants will come away with a greater understanding of the factors affecting glove performance—from the materials used in overall glove construction to less-appreciated considerations like sizing, fit and zonal reinforcement—and the specific testing protocols that are being used to measure that performance.
