Recent data suggests a very high percentage of safety professionals that are unaware of recommendations such as ACGIH H2S TLV of 1ppm, and, of those that are aware, many see very little incentive trying to measure at that level.

Many others are skeptical of manufacturers’ ability to make sensors that detect at low levels. That would seem to indicate that if these thresholds are ever adopted by organizations like NIOSH, it will be difficult to quickly comply.
