If confirmed, Keeling looks forward to working with key Labor Department officials to advance OSHA’s mission.

Former President Donald Trump plans to nominate David Keeling as the next administrator of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration.

In a LinkedIn post, Keeling expressed his appreciation for the nomination.

"I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to President Trump for nominating me to be the next OSHA administrator at the U.S. Department of Labor," Keeling wrote. "It is an incredible honor, and if confirmed, I am excited about the opportunity to work with Secretary Lori Chavez-DeRemer and Deputy Secretary Keith Sonderling to further OSHA's mission to enhance workplace safety and health."

The nomination was announced in a presidential action sent to the Senate on Feb. 12, 2025.

Keeling previously served as director of global road and transportation safety at Amazon and as vice president of global health and safety at UPS.
