ORLANDO, Florida – The National Safety Council (NSC) welcomed three new members to its board of directors during the annual board meeting held at the 2024 NSC Safety Congress & Expo in Orlando, Florida. The appointments were announced on Sunday, following specialized seminars that took place from September 13-15.

The new board members are Rob Loose, Rick Murray, and John Perkins, each bringing a wealth of experience across various industries to further the NSC’s mission of saving lives and preventing injuries.

Rob Loose, a safety and risk consultant at Stout Building Contractors in Bountiful, Utah, has over 20 years of experience in safety management system design, risk management, employee engagement, and leadership development. He has also served on several other boards, including the NSC Southeastern Chapter and the American Society of Safety Professionals.
