VPPPA and Roco Rescue Partner to Boost Workplace Safety Offerings

The partnership is the first in VPPPA’s Strategic Partner Program.

The Voluntary Protection Programs Participants’ Association Inc. (VPPPA) has announced a partnership with Roco Rescue, which provides technical rescue and safety services.

According to a release dated Feb. 1, this agreement marks the first collaboration under VPPPA's Strategic Partner Program. This partnership offers VPPPA members access to an exclusive rescue training scholarship and discounts on Roco Rescue's training services. These benefits will support VPPPA members in achieving and maintaining workplace safety and health standards.

“This strategic partnership sets the stage for a dynamic collaboration between VPPPA and Roco Rescue, paving the way for a safer and more secure future for all,” VPPPA Executive Director Chris Williams said in a statement. “Together, we will continue to drive the standards of safety excellence to new heights, exemplifying the spirit of partnership and commitment within the safety community.”

Roco Rescue has over four decades of experience in providing specialized training and equipment in confined space, high angle, fall protection, trench, structural collapse and other industries involving rescue and rope access. Since 2013, the company has been recognized as an OSHA VPP Star Worksite. Under the VPPPA partnership, Roco Rescue will feature prominently in the association’s programming, including webinars, conference workshops and blog entries.
