Building Business Bridges: Networking Events at ASSP Safety 2023

Attending Safety 2023 and ready to make new connections? Here are just some of the ways you can do that.

The American Society of Safety Professionals’ (ASSP) Safety 2023 Conference and Exposition (Safety 2023) is just around the corner.

Whether you’re a first-time attendee or a seasoned professional, Safety 2023 has much to offer. In addition to an extensive expo floor and sessions from industry-wide experts, Safety 2023—held this year from June 5 to 7 in San Antonio, Texas—provides the opportunity to meet and network with others in the health and safety industry.

Looking to make connections beyond the expo floor and informational sessions? ASSP offers many options.

Sunday Badge Pickup

If you’re going to grab your badge on Sunday, June 4, consider checking out the convention center by attending a guided tour, offered every 30 minutes. There will also be refreshments, music and more to do. Badge pickup begins at noon and ends at 7 p.m.

Rockin’ on the Riverwalk

After the first day of Safety 2023 is in the books, spend some time seeing the beautiful city of San Antonio, enjoying food, drinks and entertainment and walking along the river with other professionals. Rockin’ on the Riverwalk kicks off at the convention center’s Grotto, so no need to travel far. Tickets for the event—which runs from 5:30 to 7 p.m. on June 5— are $25. Per ASSP, “Proceeds from the event will support the ASSP Foundation Career Development Grant Program, which provides funding to OSH professionals and students to support their professional development costs.”
