OSHA Head Doug Parker to Speak at ASSP Safety 2023

The session, “An OSHA Update,” will take place on June 7 at 10:30 a.m. CT.

Have your schedule ready for the American Society of Safety Professionals’ (ASSP) Safety 2023 Conference and Expo? You might want to add this recently announced special session to your agenda.

The organization announced that on Wednesday, June 7 at 10:30 a.m. CT, Assistant Secretary of Labor for Occupational Safety and Health Doug Parker will be speaking during a general session, according to a news release.

During the session, “An OSHA Update,” Parker will address OSHA’s current and planned future work and will talk about “regulatory priorities, enforcement actions and outreach initiatives,” ASSP said. Attendees will be able to submit questions by text message for a Q&A, which will take place following the session.

The ASSP Safety 2023 Conference and Expo will take place June 5 to 7 in San Antonio, Texas at the at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center.
