OSHA to Host Advisory Committee on Construction Safety and Health Meeting on March 1

The meeting will be open to the public in person and virtually.

Mark your calendars. OSHA has announced that the Advisory Committee on Construction Safety and Health (ACCSH) will be meeting on March 1, 2023.

The meeting, which is open to the public, will take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. EST both in person and virtually. Per a news release, as part of the meeting, attendees will hear updates about OSHA, the construction industry and the National Safety Stand-Down to Prevent Falls in Construction, which is taking place from May 1 to 5 this year.

In addition, attendees will also hear from the American Society of Concrete Contractors and ACCSH workgroups. There will also be time for attendees to speak. If you wish to speak, place a request on the Federal eRulemaking Portal, Docket Number OSHA-2023-0002. Requests and comments are due by February 23.

The in-person event will take place in Conference Room C-5320, Room 6, U.S. Department of Labor, 200 Constitution Ave., NW, Washington, DC 20210. Those interested in attending have until Feb. 23 to register by emailing Gretta Jameson at [email protected].
