OH&S Changes: An Update from Our Editorial Team

In this episode, Sydny Shepard says farewell and ushers in a new era of editorial leadership for Occupational Health & Safety.

Usually, this podcast serves as a way to update you on the industry, but this episode will center around some changes with the Occupational Health & Safety editorial team. After nearly four years with the OH&S brand and seven years with its parent company, 1105 Media, Sydny Shepard's time as editor has come to a close. Shepard is moving on to a position with a company outside of the publishing industry, but is so incredibly grateful for the conversations and connections she's made while at OH&S.

OH&S is excited to introduce you to David Kopf, the new editor of Occupational Health & Safety. Kopf has worked with 1105 Media for many years as the editor of one of OH&S' sister publications, HME Business. He has been a rockstar in the home medical equipment industry and has written in-depth news, analysis, product trends and feature stories reported from a product perspective.

"I just want to thank you—from the bottom of my heart—for being a receptive audience of the podcast," Shepard said in the episode. "This podcast has been my passion project and one of the things I looked most forward to when working with OH&S. I’m so sad to leave not only the podcast but the entire brand and the wonderful team making it a success behind, but I’m so excited to hand the torch over to Dave. You guys are going to love him."

In this episode of the podcast, Shepard gives a heartfelt farewell to the dedicated podcast listeners and interviews new editor Kopf as an introduction to the new era of leadership being ushered in.
