Live From Wrap-Up: NSC Safety Congress & Expo 2022

That’s a wrap! The expo floor at this year’s NSC Safety Congress & Expo in San Diego was crowded, with people coming from all over the world. Although the show has come to a close, you can still view our coverage of the event online at ohsonline.com/live. Take a closer look at some of the companies at the show below.

Columbia Southern University (CSU), a leader in safety education for more than 25 years, got relocated to a different aisle at the show. In booth #3531, but in aisle 3300, CSU answered attendees’ questions on getting a safety degree and continuing their education with the university. CSU has programs recognized by the Board of Certified Safety Professionals. For more information on programs, visit their website. CSU also has a blog on occupational safety and health!

The Industrial Scientific booth showcased many of their products and gave demonstrations of monitors. Attendees were able to learn more about their recently announced PID sensors for their Ventis Pro5 multi-gas monitor, which "allows users to detect volatile organic compounds (VOCs) with their personal gas monitor, instead of a bulky handheld sampling monitor," the company said. MAPA Professional was also on the expo floor, advertising their gloves for chemical, thermal and cut protection and more. Attendees could see their new gloves: the 18 gauge ultra-comfort range, the hi-vis orange chemical PVC glove (coming soon) and the Ultranitril 410 (coming soon). At its booth, Wrangler had many protective clothing options to see in person, including its flame-resistant shirts and jeans. Wrangler has many products for work, including shirts for women. They even showcased a new product, which will allow workers to place kneepads in their pant leg, among other helpful features, coming soon. To view the Wrangler products, visit their website.
