Two Years Later: How a Pandemic Turned Our Lives Upside Down

In this episode, Editor Sydny Shepard takes a look back at the pandemic two years ago... and now.

It’s been two years. And I know I don’t even have to explain what it’s been two years since, because we all know. We all lived it… we are all still living it.

Around this time in March of 2020, a time I know that I will never forget, the world shut down completely. Stores, restaurants and businesses that were not deemed “essential” closed their doors, aisles of office cubicles were barren and the computer program Zoom became as popular as “Google.”

Though that was two years ago, there are still so many things happening in regards to Covid-19, including new authorizations for a second booster, OSHA working on a final rule for healthcare workers and new emerging variants that are possible cause for concern.

In our episode today, we are going to take a look at the current state of the pandemic, how OSHA is handling workplace exposures and an authorization of a forth dose of the vaccine?
