ASSP Safety 2021 Onsite Safety Plan
ASSP released a detailed look into their onsite safety plan for the Safety 2021 conference and expo.
The American Society of Safety Professionals have released a detailed look at their onsite safety plan for the Safety 2021 Professional Development Conference and Exposition. In order to complete registration and receive your badge fro access to the show, all attendees must show proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test within 48 hours of the start of the show.
The Society will be utilizing an online app called Bindle, that will help attendees upload their proof of vaccination or negative COVID test results. Through the app, attendees will be able to verify their eligibility to enter the event and provide a barcode at check in to receive their badge. For those who do not want to use the app, there are other options to verify vaccination or a negative test result.
ASSP is recommending attendees pick up their badge on Sunday, Sept. 12 if possible to avoid long lines and delays on the first day of the show. All attendees will be able to complete their registration through contactless badge kiosk areas in the entryway of the convention center. ASSP convention center staff will be onsite to help you through the process, if needed.
In addition to proof of vaccination or a negative test, the Society is asking all attendees to wear a face covering while in the convention center and hotel meeting rooms. If you have forgotten or misplaced your face covering, ASSP will be able to provide a disposable face covering for your use.
