VPPPA Offers Multiple Ways to Attend Safety+ Symposium

VPPPA offers safety professionals three ways to engage with their annual symposium.

The Voluntary Protection Programs Participants' Association will be allowing safety professionals interested in attending Safety+ An Integrated Safety & Health Management Systems Symposium to choose the way they are most comfortable in engaging with the sessions, expo and networking opportunities curated by the association for August 31 through September 2.

In-Person. The first way professionals in the safety field can choose to engage with the Safety+ Symposium is in person. The symposium will be hosted by the Gaylord Opryland Convention Center in Nashville, Tennessee. According to a message sent to press on July 14, attendees can expect to safely network and reconnect with their safety peers in Nashville.

When asked how the association will handle concerns of COVID-19 transmissions, VPPPA responded with the statement, “VPPPA and the Gaylord Opryland are following guidance from local health departments and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) regarding large gatherings, including CDC recommendations on preventing the spread of COVID-19.”

Virtual. The second way that safety professionals can decide to attend the VPPPA Safety+ Symposium is through a digital approach. Staying in theme with the previous year, VPPPA will be offering a virtual platform for attendees who wish to engage with the curated safety content from their home base. Attendees will have access to online workshops, custom exhibitor pages and unique networking opportunities.

Hybrid. Perhaps the most exciting option for those interested in Safety+ this year is the hybrid option. As we all know, attending a trade show in person can be hard, as you have to decide which of the concurrent sessions you’d like to attend. Well, sometimes you want to go to all of them! That’s why VPPPA has made the decision to offer a hybrid version of their symposium this year. Now, attendees that choose the hybrid option can meet face-to-face with their peers in Nashville, but also have extended access to the sessions and workshops they were unable to go to in person for 30 days after the symposium ends.

No matter how you choose to attend VPPPPA Safety+ this year, it is guaranteed to be full of educational and exciting moments!
