Live From Safety 2019 Day 2

The second day of Safety 2019 had longer expo hours and even more to see than day one! See what you might've missed by visiting our Live From Safety 2019 social zone at OHSonline.com/LIVE!

There are almost 700 exhibitors at the ASSP Professional Development Conference & Exposition this year, and Tuesday saw a packed show floor as people tried to take in as much as they could!

Columbia Southern University was keeping the momentum going after seeing almost 200 alumni and current students at their networking social Monday night. They're almost out of their free hot sauce, so make sure to stop by Booth 1310 before the expo floor closes Wednesday to grab a souvenir of your New Orleans trip!

MCR Safety at Booth 1449 had some very cool demos on the show floor Tuesday. Michael showed off the impact absorption ability of raw D30 material, and Chris demonstrated just how cut-resistant the new Cut Pro Apron, Sleeve and Arm Guard are—go by their booth and take a look!

It seems like there's always a crowd at Avery, Booth 329. They've been showcasing the safety and industrial side of Avery Products, including their Avery GHS Wizard, a simple-to-use labeling system that can populate your label with the necessary, accurate SDS information as soon as you type in a chemical. Stop by and check out a demo!

Tingley never seems to run out of products to showcase at Booth 326. Today we saw some of their footwear offerings, including the Full Safety Pilot Boot. They're now offering their Job Sight high-visibility safety vests in smaller sizes, so they're a good stop if you're looking for a vest that's just your size without compromising safety.

At Booth 1349, Little Giant Ladders was demonstrating many of its products, including the Claw, an unusual safety innovation for the ladder industry! The Claw is a hook system that attaches to cables, crossbars, or attachment points to semi-permanently lock the ladder in place for safety. See it in action before the expo floor closes!

Don't miss out on the final day of Safety 2019's show floor—keep an eye on the action at OHSonline.com/LIVE or by following Occupational Health & Safety on Twitter at @OccHealthSafety.
