ILO's Future of Work Report Coming Jan. 22

It will provide an in-depth and analytical examination of the future of work, according to ILO, and will outline the steps needed to create a better future of work for all.

The Global Commission on the Future of Work will release its report at the International Labour Organization's headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland, on Jan. 22, marking the start of ILO's centenary celebrations. The report is to be officially released at 11 a.m. Geneva time.

It will provide an in-depth and analytical examination of the future of work, according to ILO, and will outline the steps needed to create a better future of work for all.

The 27-member, independent Global Commission on the Future of Work – co-chaired by South Africa President Cyril Ramaphosa and Sweden Prime Minister Stefan Löfven – has been working on the report since August 2017.

Following the release of the report, a ceremony will be held to mark the start of the ILO's centenary celebrations.
