One Month to Go Until Safety+ 2018

The Aug. 28-31 event in Nashville will feature more than 100 educational workshops and an expo hall filled by more than 250 exhibitors.

One of the best annual safety trade shows, the Voluntary Protection Programs Participants' Association's Safety+, is fast approaching. The event takes place Aug. 28-31 at the Gaylord Opryland Convention Center in Nashville, Tenn. VPPPA is partnering with the Tennessee Safety & Health Conference (TSHC) for the 2018 Safety+ Symposium.

The event will feature more than 100 educational workshops and an expo hall filled by more than 250 exhibitors.

VPPPA recommends that attendees download the Safety+ mobile app in advance to start planning their schedules for the week of the event, saying the app is "the easiest way to read full workshop descriptions, check out the speakers, see a full listing of exhibitors and sponsors, find key event information, network with other attendees and more!"

To download it:

1. Search for the "CrowdCompass AttendeeHub" mobile app in your Google Play or iTunes store and download.

2. Open the AttendeeHub app and search for the event "Safety+"

3. Click the Safety+ icon to open and then log in. If you log in, you will be able to access all sections of the mobile app (i.e., able to build a schedule, network with other attendees, etc.)

The association note that users must log in with an email address that they can access on their mobile phones when downloading the mobile app, especially if they download on site. They also should enable Bluetooth on their phones in order to receive push notifications on the mobile app, and also be sure to allow push notifications on their phones. Notifications could include important event updates or opportunities to win prizes.
