New IARC Website Tracks UV Radiation Cancers

The Cancers Attributable to UV Radiation website provides the population attributable fractions associated with UV radiation exposure and will help national decision makers as they set priorities for cancer prevention.

The International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) recently launched its new database on cancers attributable to ultraviolet (UV) radiation.

Part of the Global Cancer Observatory, the website aims to provide estimates of the preventable melanoma burden using a standardized analytical approach for all countries.
