The IOHA meeting's education sessions will be held Sept. 24-26, 2018, in Washington, D.C. at the Marriott Marquis Hotel. Professional development courses will be held Sept. 22, 23, and 27.
"While AIHA is an association based in America, we are honored to open up our nation's capital to the countries of the world," said Alla Orlova AIHA's director of Education. "We look forward to providing an international platform where industrial hygiene professionals from around the globe can come together to share ideas for the betterment of all of our communities through innovative educational opportunities."
The theme of the 11th annual IOHA conference is "Bringing Better Health to Workers Worldwide." Experts are encouraged to submit proposals for professional development courses, which are in-depth, more formal learning experiences; and education sessions, which make up the main conference program. The conference also will feature case study presentations, scientific research presentations, professional poster presentations, and student poster presentations.
