Tyson Foods Recalls Ready-To-Eat Breaded Chicken Products

The recall is due to misbranding and undeclared allergens

According to a news release, Tyson Foods Inc. is recalling approximately 2,485,374 pounds of ready-to-eat breaded chicken products due to misbranding and undeclared allergens. The products could contain milk, which is not declared on the product label.

The products were all produced and packaged on dates from Aug. 17, 2016, through Jan. 14, 2017 and include a variety of chicken patties. The problem was discovered on June 6, 2017 when the company received notification from a supplier that the bread crumbs received could potentially contain undeclared milk.

No confirmed reports of adverse reactions to the ingredients have been reported.
