Our Anaheim Excursion

Get ready for 2016's biggest U.S. safety show by viewing dozens of the new products exhibitors will be displaying.

It's finally here—the National Safety Congress & Expo, the biggest and often hailed as the best U.S. safety show of the year. Taking place Oct. 15-21 at the Anaheim Convention Center, it includes a top-notch expo (Oct. 17-19) that offers all of the latest and greatest products from OSH industry manufacturers and their distributors.

The NSC expo will be big and busy, as always, inside halls A-D of the convention center. The expo hours are:

  • 9:30 a.m. – 4 p.m., Monday, Oct. 17
  • 9:30 a.m. – 4 p.m., Oct. 18
  • 9:30 a.m. – 1 p.m., Oct. 19

The convention center's expansion means that, weekdays and some Saturdays from June 29 to Dec. 31, 2016, construction activity may briefly interrupt traffic flow on eastbound and westbound Katella Avenue between West Street and Hotel Way as steel delivery trucks access the expansion work site. Phase One of the project was scheduled to be completed in September 2016. It features 600 parking spaces and a pedestrian bridge concourse connecting the parking structure to existing facilities.

Anaheim Convention Center North is scheduled to open in September 2017 and will include the added 200,000 square feet of exhibit and meeting space and a two-phase parking structure with 1,350 spaces.
