The agency has announced its seventh class of NSC Rising Stars of Safety.
The National Safety Council has announced its seventh class of NSC Rising Stars of Safety -- 43 safety professionals younger than 40 who have improved the safety culture at their workplaces. The Rising Stars are a group of future leaders dedicated to making workplaces safer, the council says.
"Our Rising Stars understand that safety is not a spectator sport,” said Deborah A.P. Hersman, president and CEO of NSC. “Their dedication to creating a safety culture at their workplaces helps ensure their colleagues go home safely every day. We are thrilled to recognize their inspiring work.”
They will be formally recognized during the 2016 NSC Congress & Expo in Anaheim, Calif., Oct. 15- Oct. 21.
