The 2016 International Annual Meeting of the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society is taking place next month in Washington, D.C., and features an intriguing and timely technical program, with 125 concurrent sessions.

The 2016 International Annual Meeting of the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society is taking place next month -- Sept. 19-23 at the Washington Hilton in Washington, D.C., to be specific -- and features an intriguing and timely technical program, with 125 concurrent sessions. The range of topics to be covered includes:

  • Air traffic management problems
  • Ergonomics of aging and obesity
  • Security/web page design
  • Sit-stand workstations
  • Trust in automation
  • Unmanned vehicle mishaps
  • Warning signs and labels

Seven skill-building workshops are featured on Sept. 19, and almost 90 posters will be displayed during a Sept. 20 reception alongside the exhibits.
