'Game of IH Life' Trivia Games Await #AIHce2016 Attendees
All AIHce attendees can play the Basic game version, according to AIHA's announcement, while attendees who downloaded and are using the AIHce app can also participate in the Advanced game version. There is also a special virtual version for those who are participating in the Virtual Conference.
Industrial hygienists and other safety professionals preparing to attend the 2016 AIHce conference two weeks from now in Baltimore can get ready to take their chances with two "The Game of IH Life" trivia games offered by the sponsors at the event. There is also a special virtual version for those who are participating in the Virtual Conference.
All AIHce attendees can play the Basic game version, according to AIHA's announcement, while attendees who downloaded and are using the AIHce app can also participate in the Advanced game version.
The Basic Game
Scattered throughout the Baltimore Convention Center are Stations A through E. Using the provided paper entry form that will be located at the Start Station in front of the Expo Hall, the AIHA booth in the Expo Hall, or at the Registration booth, circle your answer to the provided questions located on each station.
When you've answered all five questions, turn in your completed answer key to the designated entry box at the AIHA booth. (While you're not required to be in attendance to win, you need to have answered all five questions correctly. All attendees are welcome to play; an attendee may enter only once. The drawings for Basic game prizes will be done at random after the conclusion of AIHce, with winners notified by email by May 27. You can only win one prize per game.
The grand Prize (one winner) is an iPad Air 2. First prize (one winner) is a $100 Amazon gift card, and the secondary Prizes (five winners) is an AIHA Marketplace credit of $25.
The Advanced Game
Be sure to opt in to play through the conference app, because the Push notifications will not activate until you have done so. (If you opt in during the conference, it may take up to an hour before the notifications are turned on for you, according to AIHA.)
There are 15 stations inside the Expo Hall and 5 throughout the Baltimore Convention Center; simply approach one and your app will alert you with a Push notification. Follow the prompts to answer the question provided. Every correct answer will give you an additional chance to win one of the prizes. (A key point to remember is you get only one attempt per station.)
While you're not required to be in attendance when the drawing is done, you need to have correctly answered as many questions as possible in order to increase your odds, and you can play this version only through the conference app. The drawings for Advanced game prizes will be done at random after the conclusion of the conference; winners will be notified by email by May 27. The virtual game is available to registered participants of this year's Virtual Conference and is played online through the session chat server.
