FMCSA Declares Truck Driver an Imminent Hazard

The agency has ordered a California-licensed driver not to operate any commercial motor vehicles in interstate commerce

The FMCSA has declared Edward Herbert Crane, a California-licensed driver, to be an imminent hazard to public safety and therefore has ordered him not to operate any commercial motor vehicles in interstate commerce, according to a report.

An investigation in May 2015 revealed that Crane was medically unqualified to operate a commercial motor vehicle after testing positive for prohibited controlled substances, amphetamines or methamphetamines on three separate occasions.
