ODOL is asking employers to submit videos showing best practices, what works, as well as inspiring excellence and showing off their creativity.

Oklahoma Employers Urged to Enter Evolution of Safety Contest

The willing videos will debut June 17 at the 2016 Safety & Health Conference and featured on the ODOL YouTube page.

"Dear Employer, The history of workplace safety and health is filled with many diverse evolutions. What is your company's safety and health story? How did you get from point A to point B? What is your Evolution of Safety? More importantly, where will you go from here?"

That's how the Oklahoma Department of Labor's invitation for entries in this year's Evolution of Safety Video Contest begins. ODOL is asking employers to submit videos showing best practices, what works, as well as inspiring excellence and showing off their creativity. These are to be only two to three minutes long, though.

The entry deadline is April 22. Original videos on the Evolution of Safety theme may be submitted on a CD, DVD, or thumb drive or via email (the address is: Safety Video Contest, 3017 N. Stiles, Suite 100, Oklahoma City, OK or to [email protected]).

The winning videos will be recognized and debuted at the 2016 Safety & Health Conference on June 17, 2016, and will be featured on the Oklahoma Department of Labor's YouTube Page. Winners will be contacted by May 20. To see last year's entries, visit www.youtube.com/user/LaborOK.
