Canadian research group IRSST has released a web-based support tool that will help industrial hygienists and occupational health and safety professionals choose respiratory protection against bioaerosols in the workplace.
This tool guides users through six-steps and proposes appropriate respiratory protection based on the hazards associated with infectious or non-infectious bioaerosols present in the workplace as well as workers' level of exposure.
This tool can be used in a wide range of sectors, including health care, agriculture, municipalities, and business.
