The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health is seeking comments from partners and the public to help evaluate the impact of the National Occupational Research Agenda. The comment deadline is March 24. NORA is a partnership program to identify and address the most critical issues in workplace safety and health; it began in 1996.

NIOSH is reviewing the accomplishments of NORA's second decade and is preparing for the third decade, which will start in 2016. The comment period is part of the second decade review.

"The sector-based approach adopted by NORA in 2006 has fostered the creation of many exciting partnership opportunities and helped NIOSH move innovative research to practice within workplaces," said NIOSH Director Dr. John Howard. "Feedback from our stakeholders is essential to help us understand whether or not we are making a difference in targeting research to improve the health and safety of America's workforce."
