The Oct. 2-4 event, a big annual conference organized by IFMA, takes place in Philadelphia.

Facility management professionals by the thousands will gather in Philadelphia early next month for the International Facility Management Association's big conference, World Workplace 2013, which will take place Oct. 2-4. "Leading FM: Advance Business, Get Results" is the event’s theme.

It will include a panel discussion in which CEOs from well-known companies and organizations will discuss what it takes to lead facility management to advance business. The expo is free and open to the public and will feature products and services for building maintenance, security, sustainability, and efficiency.

Barbara Corcoran is the closing keynote speaker on "How to Lead Your Team to Greatness." She is a contributor to NBC's "TODAY Show," an investor/shark on ABC's reality show "Shark Tank," and the author of three books, including "Shark Tales."
