Total Safety Welcomes New CEO
Troy W. Thacker became the Houston-based company's president and CEO effective Aug. 5.
Total Safety, a leading provider of safety services and products to the oil and gas industry, has a new president and CEO. Troy W. Thacker has both titles, effective Aug. 5, as he replaces David E. Fanta, who will retire but remains on the company’s board and will serve as a special advisor to Thacker during the transition, the Houston-based company announced.
Thacker previously was president and CEO of R360 Environmental Solutions, an oilfield environmental solutions company that provides non-hazardous oilfield waste treatment, recovery, and disposal services in several natural resource producing areas, including the Permian, Bakken, and Eagle Ford Basins. Before joining R360, Thacker was a founding partner of Paine & Partners, LLC, a private equity firm.
