Nano Experts to Assist with 2013 NNI Strategic Plan

The 2013 NNI Stakeholder Workshop to be held June 11-12 in Washington, D.C., allows experts outside the federal government to share their insights.

Nanotechnology experts will gather in Washington, D.C., on June 11-12 for workshops and discussions to inform the 2013 strategic plan for the National Nanotechnology Initiative (NNI). Their meeting, the 2013 NNI Stakeholder Workshop, is intended to obtain input from stakeholders on revisions to the NNI strategic plan that will be proposed in advance of the workshop.

The event is limited to 120 people. The agenda has been posted and includes a panel to discuss environmental, health, and safety concerns on both days, with Richard Canady, director of the Center for Risk Science Innovation and Application, ILSI Research Foundation, and Charles Geraci, coordinator of NIOSH's Nanotechnology Research Center, serving as co-chairs.
