Alliance Formed to Prevent Cardiac Arrest-Related Fatalities
The Centers for Health and Public Safety is joining Emergency University to raise awareness about preventable deaths.
Striving to save lives and combat cardiac arrest-related deaths, the Centers for Health and Public Safety and Emergency University are teaming inform the public.
Forming a National Alliance, the CHPS and Emergency University, a provider of online and blended CPR training to companies and government agencies, will partner to provide education and equipment to individuals and organizations. According to the CHPS, only one in 20 people survive sudden cardiac arrest, but some of these deaths are preventable. Their alliance will work to educate people in offices, schools, and public places on how to properly use CPR and automated external defibrillators. The alliance will provide materials to companies and individuals.
