eLCOSH Website Retooled
CPWR, the Center for Construction Research and Training, unveiled its new design Oct. 4.
A popular website for research and resources about construction safety and health, eLCOSH, looks new and improved today. The electronic Library of Construction Occupational Safety and Health has a more attractive design and better organization.
Visitors can search for more than 2,000 documents, images, videos, photos, and reports according to the hazard (confined spaces to vibration and everything in between), or by trades, by jobsites (heavy and highway, industrial, underground, demolition, etc.), or by type of document (podcasts, recalls, toolbox talks, presentations, etc.).
Pete Stafford, executive director of CPWR, wrote that many people participated in the new site's development during the past two and a half years. "I want to thank those of you who took a 'test drive' to check out site operations before we went live, and give a special acknowledgement to those who participated in the eLCOSH Working Group. Your insights and recommendations during the earliest stages of this project helped shape the new design and site functions," he wrote. "So please explore www.elcosh.org, and drop me a line to tell me what you think!"
