To be held in Mexico City in late April and now part of Reed Exhibitions’ ISC Events portfolio, it is co-located with Expo Seguridad Mexico, Mexico Fire Expo, and Facilities Mexico.

The next Mexico Safety Expo is set for April 24-26 in Mexico City at the Banamex Center, where it is co-located with the Mexico Fire Expo, Facilities Mexico, and Expo Seguridad Mexico, sponsored by the Latin American Security Association (ALAS).

Expo Seguridad Mexico and Mexico Safety Expo are now part of Reed Exhibitions' ISC Events portfolio; the company says the acquisition will allow Reed to offer a robust platform that includes exhibitions in the United States, Mexico, and Brazil.

The annual Expo Seguridad Mexico and Mexico Safety Expo events feature more than 350 exhibitors and attract close to 14,000 security and safety professionals. "We have always felt a strong responsibility to our loyal exhibitors and visitors to bring to them a world-class event, and the decision to sell the events to Reed Exhibitions will enable us to continue doing so for the long term. We are very excited at the opportunity to continue working with Reed to bring the Mexican market what it deserves: the best of the best," said Andrea Ferrando, director of Marketing and founder of the ESM and MSE shows.

"We are truly excited about the addition of Expo Seguridad Mexico and Mexico Safety Expo into our global portfolio of ISC events," said Ed Several, senior vice president and general manager of ISC Events. "Together, we will leverage our mutual and combined strengths for this exciting and strategic opportunity to support Mexico's thriving security marketplace. We are well poised to help customers create an increased profile among international buyers and open new opportunities in this part of the world." Details of the transaction were not disclosed.
